Are You looking for a good Antivirus for Mac? Normally I would not recommend to run Antivirus on a Mac, but for the sake of Your fellow windows users, You could consider to run one, so You don’t send infected e-mails to them.
One of the fastest and probably best Antivirus is from Intego. You can download a 30 day trial of Intego VirusBarier X5 and try it. Intego also has a dual protection bundle if you run windows on your Mac.
Less can also do it. You can try the free ClamXav. It is not so fast and has less features. But it is free and will do the most basic detection and cleaning.
The situation gets more complicated with Macs being able to run Windows in Parallels, VMware Fusion, Sun VirtualBox or Apple Bootcamp.
So it is obvious that some protection is needed on the PC side too. I would go for AVG. They have a free version for home users that will offer the most basic protection.
